J.CO Donuts and Coffee
The Hong Kong franchisee of US doughnut giant Krispy Krmem was closed all its outlets in the city. Since then, there's no doughnut shops entering HK again. Not until lately, I stay in Philippines for a year. And people here love donuts, and offering plenty of choices from different brands. J.CO's donut tastes the best among all, was introduced by my Ph colleagues.
They have lots of favour, I like Tiramisu, Green Tease and of coz Alcapone among all. Yummy! Not only donuts but they also offee coffee and yogurt. I guess that's what I will try next time. The only thing is I queue nearly an hour to buy half dozen of these delicious donuts in the Greenbelt 3 store!
J.CO Donuts and Coffee
All J.CO donuts are freshly made during the day. It's very easy to see how the donuts are made just behind the bar, toppings and bits are being put on the donuts filled with fresh cream. I just want to try them all!
My Pick :) Half a dozen (P230)
Their best-selling donut is Alcapone with almond flake topping, I like to put it in freezer so that the toppings becomes more crispy when defrosted.

L'Opera Ristorante Italiano
If you looking for a romance, nice decoration italian ristorante, L'Opera is a place to be!
I always want to try new restaurant, and L'Opera is greatly recommended by one of my best friends in Philipines, who loves Italian food.
Our meal began with freshly made bread with three spreads - creamy butter, liver pate and checca (tomatoes, olive oil and basil). The bread is soft and fluffy but if it's still warm from oven would be better.
As L'Opera has wide range of food choices e.g appetizers, soups, pastas, pizzas, risotto etc, my friend and I decide to try one salad and two pastas, and of course dessert. Yes! Girls always have room for a dessert!
Once we finish two pasta and one salad, we are already full. But we still intend to try one dessert to share :P We order L'Opera's signiture homemade Tiramisu. It tastes good to me with not much rum smell.
It is a pleasant meal with live bands singing early 80's songs. Although we spent around 2000 peso for the meal, I'd like to think it was worth every peso spent. L'Opera is a good place to celebrate with your loved one.

Salad with grapes, walnuts, crisp lettuces and carrots in honey sauces. Good for sharing.
Ravioli ai funghi porcini (P420) - Mushroom-filled ravioli in L'opea porcini mushroom
cream sauce. Extremely creamy mushroom sauce inside the ravioli, it's my best dish tonight :)
Spaghetti con capesante e frutti di mare (P440) -Spaghetti with scallop and seafood. A lot of manila baby clams and mussels, the dish is slighty salty.
