L'Opera Ristorante Italiano

If you looking for a romance, nice decoration italian ristorante, L'Opera is a place to be!
I always want to try new restaurant, and L'Opera is greatly recommended by one of my best friends in Philipines, who loves Italian food.

Our meal began with freshly made bread with three spreads - creamy butter, liver pate and checca (tomatoes, olive oil and basil). The bread is soft and fluffy but if it's still warm from oven would be better.

As L'Opera has wide range of food choices e.g appetizers, soups, pastas, pizzas, risotto etc, my friend and I decide to try one salad and two pastas, and of course dessert. Yes! Girls always have room for a dessert!

Salad with grapes, walnuts, crisp lettuces and carrots in honey sauces. Good for sharing.

Ravioli ai funghi porcini (P420) - Mushroom-filled ravioli in L'opea porcini mushroom
cream sauce. Extremely creamy mushroom sauce inside the ravioli, it's my best dish tonight :)

Spaghetti con capesante e frutti di mare (P440) -Spaghetti with scallop and seafood. A lot of manila baby clams and mussels, the dish is slighty salty.

Once we finish two pasta and one salad, we are already full. But we still intend to try one dessert to share :P We order L'Opera's signiture homemade Tiramisu. It tastes good to me with not much rum smell.

It is a pleasant meal with live bands singing early 80's songs. Although we spent around 2000 peso for the meal, I'd like to think it was worth every peso spent. L'Opera is a good place to celebrate with your loved one.
